Embrace Change

Many of us spend our time trying to "capture the moment". With camera or smart-phone or some other toy, we try to preserve that "special event" forever - although we may never again experience what we have captured, since we are so busy capturing the next "special event".
All things are impermanent. Each moment unique. The only constant is change.
We glance at a row of trees, perhaps even taking a photograph of them, and our mind identifies what they are - and then dismisses them.
But each tree, like all else in creation, is unique - and always changing.
The cycle of birth, life, death and rebirth continues endlessly. All that exists - including each of us - is in a state of constant change.
Don't try to record the moment.
Live each moment, joyfully, embracing change. For with change comes the chance of growth, of becoming far more than we are at this moment.
Change.
